The construction, general industry, disaster site and maritime Outreach Training programs share common goals. They teach workers to recognize and avoid unsafe behaviors common to all industries. They also address ways in which a specific industry differs from others. For example, stepping on a piece of rope in general industry is unlikely to leave you dragged into the water and drowned, but it might in the maritime industry. These classes also give workers and employers information on “workers’ rights, employer responsibilities and how to file a complaint.”
Authorized OSHA 10 and 30 Hour for construction
Specializing in On-Site training for your company.
Authorized OSHA 10 and 30 Hour Outreach for Construction training is designed for construction workers, foremen, supervisors, contractors, coordinators, and any interested party involved in construction.
Workers can attend 10 hour or 30 hour classes delivered by OSHA authorized trainers. The 10 hour class is intended for entry level workers, while the 30 hour class is more appropriate for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility. Morris Jett is an OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer for conducting 10 and 30 hour Construction Courses in accordance with Outreach Training Program requirements.
I have over 30 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. I possess excellent interpersonal skills, which I utilize to communicate effectively with both field and management. I deliver innovative training that will meet local and national requirements. All training modules are customized to best reflect your operation and work environment and will provide a low-pressure, laid back training environment allowing students to relax and maximize learning potentials.
All classes will meet or exceed OSHA Outreach Course requirements. Flexible training hours and training locations are offered to ensure maximum use of productivity time. OSHA intends for Outreach training to be participatory. For this reason, OSHA requires Outreach trainers to teach at least 3 students per class. Outreach classes are limited to a maximum of 40 students. We recommend a maximum of 20 students per class. Training is limited to a maximum of 7.5 student contact hours per day. The entire length of the training day may be longer than 7.5 hours when adding time for breaks and lunch. 10 hour classes must take a minimum of two days. 30 hour classes must take a minimum of four days. Each student will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course, and an official OSHA Outreach Training wallet card from The U.S. Department of Labor.
